Normally I do not celebrate Halloween but this year was a little different. My friends and I had a little celebration and costume party. We went as a rendition of Noah’s Ark, called Nailah’s Ark.

We had a little baking competition where we had to incorporate pumpkin/pumpkin spice. We made a “Deconstructed Pumpkin Cinnamon Monkey Bread with a Buttercream Frosting”. The recipe is below :)
Ingredients:
⅔ cup of white sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
2 tablespoons of pumpkin spice
½ cup of butter
3 cans of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
⅔ cup can of pure pumpkin puree
Directions:
Monkey Bread
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Take a large plastic bag and place the white sugar and pumpkin spice
Open the 3 cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each one into at least 4 pieces
Place the cut rolls into the bag and shake to evenly coat.
In a separate bowl and mix brown sugar, butter, and pumpkin puree
Stir until well combined
Spray the bundt can with non-stick spray
Place each piece into the pan
Pour the pumpkin mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces evenly
Bake for 30-40 minutes
Let it cool for 15-20 minutes and plate
Frosting
Take the frosting from the cinnamon roll cans
Heat them up in a microwave for about 30 seconds
Pour evenly over the monkey bread
