Hey everyone! I am so happy to see that everyone has made it to the end of the month. January is such a weird month because I feel like it lasts forever! We spend half of the month on break from school then spend the other half starting a new semester. While this month may have felt very long, we still have the rest of the year to go. Luckily with all this time, I was able to try new things which have become some of my favorite items this month. Here are my top favorites this month. Please feel free to leave a comment sharing what items you are loving this month.

Real Devotion by Alexander Rodriguez

This book was promoted at a Chi Alpha service as we go through our Discipleship Groups for the month of February. The author does a great job of explaining many of the ideas Christians believe and where they are rooted in scripture. I particularly enjoy this book because it gives me a new way of explaining these ideas to other people. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to make disciples or be a disciple.

Hydrojug

I absolutely love this jug! I am very big on drinking tons of water. It is so good for your health and doing that alone can bring so much change for your body. This is the jug I take to the gym with me so I can have a great visual measure of how much water I am drinking. It holds ½ a gallon of water which I finish by midday, then try to drink another ½ gallon during the rest of the day.*This along with my many numerous pink water bottles helps me constantly stay hydrated throughout the day.

*Doctors recommend drinking 11.5 cups of water a day. A full gallon is 16 cups.

Dinner Parties

This has is definitely a new hobby of mine. I love cooking and try to cook dinner for myself often. However, I find that I go out to eat often with friends which makes grocery shopping redundant and I end up going over budget. Instead, I invite friends over for dinner and I get to practice my cooking skills while also having a great conversation with my close friend. I bought these wine glasses* that elevate the experience, paired with some music it matches the ambiance of a restaurant without the unpleasantries.

* I do not drink alcohol, I usually have sparkling cider or juice in there.

HTeaO

Imagine a place where you can get all the sweet tea you want for under $5. HTeaO is exactly what this is. They also have healthy snacks, fruit, and merch you can purchase. I like to mix different flavors but my favorites are the Sweet Georgia Peach and the Ryan Palmer. If you love tea this is the spot! Make sure you invite me :)
